The feud between Patterson and Severide will come to a head and it might put the lives of other people at risk, according to the episode 6 spoilers for "Chicago Fire" season 4.

A clip for the next episode shows just how much the rivalry is going to hurt the station.

Patterson tells Severide while they are in the office, "I'm the one calling the shots."

In the next scene, a man is bleeding on the ground after an emergency and Severide can be seen telling Patterson, "We need to pull him out of the car and just load and go."

That gets Patterson riled up who tells Severide, "Negative. I didn't ask for your opinion."

The synopsis teases spoilers for episode 6 of "Chicago Fire" season 4 as it reads, "Boden's new neighbor asks him for a favor that could have serious repercussions; Severide is upset when he's treated like a candidate by Patterson; and Cruz is visited by a gangbanger who knows his brother. In other events, the team responds to a call that involves an 18-wheeler; and is thanked with tickets to see Rush."

After graduating from the leadership class, Severide wants his lieutenant position back even if Riddle is backing Patterson.

Fans can get more of the Patterson and Severide rivalry as it was reported that NBC ordered for season 5 for "Chicago Fire."

"The news comes as little surprise as both series, produced in-house by Universal Television, have been sturdy performers for the increasingly drama-focused network," said The Hollywood Reporter.

"The early renewal comes hours after NBC handed out a second-season pickup for freshman drama Blindspot, from Greg Berlanti, Martin Gero and Warner Bros. Television," it added.

Watch out for more "Chicago Fire" season 4 spoilers ahead of the airing date for episode 6 on Tuesday night at 10 p.m.
