Sony Electronics Company recently announced that its most popular gaming console "PlayStation 4" would be listed at a rate of $299 for the Black Friday 2015 deals, in the upcoming holiday season, according to Sony's official blog post.

The announcement came from Sony after its technology technology arch rival company, Microsoft made an announcement that its Xbox One gaming platform will be available at $50 percent discount rate, during the Black Friday weekend.

According to Tech Times, the "Gears of War: Ultimate edition" or Xbox One bundles with 500GB gaming console or a 1TB console, all will be listed at price of $299 for the sale, starting from the Thanksgiving Day which is on November 26 until November 30.

The electronics giant, Sony had earlier declared that all its gaming consoles would be available at a price of $349 throughout the holiday season. But, to match the competition from the technology giant, it reduced the PS4 price to $299 same as Xbox One price.

Sony will make the discounted PlayStation console available from November 26. The United States and Canada gamers can now buy the "Unchartered: The Nathan Drake Collection" of 500GB PS4 for $299 and $369.99 respectively. The collection would also consist of single-player battles for "Unchartered: Drake's Fortune, Unchartered 2: Among Thieves and Unchartered 3: Drake's Deception," reported Time.

All the above deals, for both the gaming console, would take place via various stores like Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Toys "R" Us, GameStop and Walmart.

According to Latin Post, GameStop outlet will also offer deals on PlayStation Gold Wireless Headsets, which would be available for $69.99.The store will also offer an additional $20 discount on PlayStation 4 Black DualShock 4 Wireless Controller.

Microsoft store will offer "Limited Edition Halo5: Guardians Bundle" for $449. Target store will list the Xbox One War Bundle console with 500GB system and a gift card, for price of $300.
