Is Kim JaeJoong dating Chinese rookie actress Ruo Yi Wang? He's probably not. But even if he was, fans might not hear the truth for a long time.

In the past the JYJ singer and star of the dramas "Dr. Jin" and "Protect The Boss" and the film "Heaven's Postman" has been very careful not to get involved in any dating scandals.

However, this week a photo taken by the Chinese actress prompted fans to think that it was taken in Jaejoong's home. Her presence there led fans to believe that they might be dating.

But fans should not wait for him to comment on that.

"I can only date publicly after I have dated someone for a long time," he said during a recent interview.

He also stressed that the fact that he won't go public about dating does not mean he is not going to date.

"Of course I have had secret relationships," he said. "But I don't think I can contemplate making a relationship public until I have dated someone for at least a year."

He also once said he would not disclose his dating relationships while he was in his 20s.

"I will think about it again when I turn 30," said Jaejoong, who is now 27.

The dating rumors with Ruo Yi Wang started when the actress posted a photo of herself next to huge gorilla and horse dolls that fans have identified as being in Jaejoong's home. That's all it took to start the speculation that they were dating and even to incur the wrath of some of Jaejoong's fans.

"I didn't know a single photo taken in August when I was in Korea would cause such a big problem," said Ruo Yi Wang in another post. "Fans requested I delete the photo but erasing it could only cause a bigger misunderstanding."

The actress then admitted that she was indeed in Jaejoong's home but that she was not there alone.

"Other people were there too," said the actress and model, but so far, no one else has posted photos of the gathering.

The tall, long-legged Ruo is a much-in-demand model and has acted in the films "Color Me Love" and "Wish Me Happy Birthday." She graduated from the Central Drama Academy in Beijing.

As to whether or not Ruo,25, is his type, Kim is not sure he has one.

"I had a definite ideal type in the past," he said in a recent interview. "But the standard has become blurred."

Still, they would make an attractive couple. What do you think?
