Lindsay Lohan quoted the Quran in an Instagram post earlier this week, fueling rumors that she is converting to Islam.
According to a report from Albawaba, the "Mean Girls" star shared an image of her wearing accessories designed by "Nouf Jewellery." What caught the attention of followers was how the caption of Lindsay Lohan's Instagram post quoted a verse from the Quran.
"Whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is on the earth glorifies Allâh," she wrote. "He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
Prior to Lindsay Lohan's recent Instagram post, the Catholic-raised actress' religion was questioned because of photos taken earlier this year. It was May when she was spotted carrying a copy of the Quran after her first day of community service in Brooklyn, New York.
Aside from rumors about her converting to Islam, the controversial actress has been making news after the announced that she is making a movie comeback after a two-year hiatus.
People reported about how Lindsay Lohan shared an Instagram photo from the set of her new movie, "The Shadow Within."
"My first day on my new film! Will be sending a sneak peak of my character this week #theshadowwithin," she captioned the selfie.
Insiders also revealed to Radar Online that the former Disney star is determined to revive her career after battling alcohol and drug addictions and dealing with run-ins with the law.
"Lindsay is doing better than she has in years," an insider said.
"She is determined to be a movie star again."
The redhead actress reportedly tamed down after she relocated to London last year, where she was cast as the lead star in a West End production entitled "Speed the Plow." The show's successful run reportedly inspired Lindsay Lohan to make a huge career comeback.
"Lindsay plans to return home to her family in New York for a bit and is then heading to L.A. because she has three big movies that she is getting ready to star in," an insider shared right before Lindsay Lohan left London.
