The opening date for "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter," themed land based on Harry Potter series was recently revealed by the Universal Studios, according to Movie News Guide.
The announcement was made with the release of a short television advertisement trailer during the campaign designed by the Universal Studios. The campaign is focused at generating thrill and enthusiasm amongst the Harry Potter fans to visit the theme park after its grand opening next year.
Los Angeles Times reported that Universal Studios Hollywood has illuminated the grand Hogwarts castle in the commercial and tried to create nostalgia for all the adventure series fans.
The theme park will showcase the exact locations of the Harry Potter film and also few new places for the tourists to explore. The destinations under World of Harry Potter have been beautifully carved and recreated to give the fans a real-time experience at the place.
The land features snow-capped roofs, cobblestone streets and various alleys with shops like Ollivanders, Honeydukes, Owl Post, Joke Shop, Wiseacre's Wizarding Equipment, Dervish and Banges and Filch's Emporium of Confiscated Goods, which are built exactly like that of the fictional British territories as showcased in the film, reported Entertainment Weekly.
Hogsmeade village and the Hogwarts castle are considered to be the most attractive destinations of the themed landscape. The land also consists of train conductor welcoming new arrivals, Butterbeer carts to candy shops, Three Broomsticks, Hog's Head pub and Magic Neep.
USA Today reported that the tourists will be able to enjoy different signature rides like "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey" and "Flight of the Hippogriff," which is Universal Studios Hollywood's first outdoor roller coaster and will provide all the fans with 360-degrees experience of Harry Potter's journeys throughout the films.
These rides will be hyper-realistic 3D-HD adventures which will give the tourists a real-time experience of the Harry Potter storyline. The thrilling rides are designed with advanced robotics ride system, detailed filmed action sequences and gut-wrenching visual effects, Times Oracle.
The much-awaited theme park is set to open on April 7, 2016, at the Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles.
