"Scandal" star Kerry Washington and husband Nnamdi Asomugha have supposedly confirmed the divorce rumors after listing their home for $2.695 million.

The amount would net them a handsome profit after the actress and the former NFL player bought their house in May 2014 for about $1.865 million.

Kerry Washington and husband Nnamdi Asomugha are already separated, according to Life & Style Magazine (per Celebrity Dirty Laundry), and the "Scandal" star will official file the divorce papers in the new year.

Apparently, the couple went to a marriage counselor to make their relationship work to no avail.

"The source explained that Kerry Washington resents her husband because she works non-stop on the set of 'Scandal' and he hasn't made any attempts to find work since leaving the San Francisco 49ers," it said. "On the other hand, Nnamdi is bitter because he 'believes that Kerry has given up on their marriage.'"

As the to the former couple's $2.6 million home, according to Curbed LA, they already found a buyer.

"Sharing the more-than-30,000-square-foot lot with that main house is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom guest house that has its own kitchen," the article said. "The gated lot also has a pool, an outdoor entertainment area with a projection TV, a basketball court, and 'rolling lawns.'"

But the TMZ reported for "Scandal" star Kerry Washington and husband Nnamdi Asomugha claimed that there's no divorce in the horizon for the couple.

TMZ reported that their sources who belied the divorce rumors had no agenda to tell a lie.

"They live like a normal couple, and when you're around them or on the phone with them they're clearly into each other," one of TMZ sources claimed. "If they divorce it'd be the most shocking split in a long time. It's just not happening."

Kerry Washington and Nnamdi Asomugha got married about two years ago, and they have a daughter who recently turned one.
