Everybody thinks Selena Gomez and Niall Horan are an item but the songstress has finally addressed rumors that she and the One Direction member are dating.
At the Billboard's 10th Annual Women in Music bash Friday, the 23-year-old pop star doubtlessly denied the rumors that she and British performer Niall Horan are dating.
When asked by Entertainment Tonight at the event to set the record straight between her and Niall Horan, Selena Gomez responded saying, "Oh my God! No."
The stunning "Good for You" singer, however, was quick to admit that she admires the 22-year-old performer.
"I love him, I always have. He's Amazing," the former Disney star added.
Rumors that the two are dating and are romantically involved with each other initially sparked when, earlier this month, reports claimed that Selena Gomez and Niall Horan were spotted making out at an event. According to Us Weekly, the two are seen "kissing in the middle of the club, in front of everyone" during the 35th birthday celebration of Channing Tatum's wife Jenna at Bootsy Bellows nightclub on Dec. 4.
An unnamed source also told the magazine that "they definitely seemed very close and like they were together," adding that "they were very close together, talking and whispering."
The insider also told Us that the pair left the event together later that night, revealing that Selena Gomez "grabbed his arm on the way out and held onto it."
In addition to denying that she is dating Niall Horan at the Billboard event, Selena Gomez also shot back at detractors after accusing her of singing to a pre-recorded track during her performance on this year's Victoria Secret Fashion Show.
"Yes, I f**king sing live," a post on her Instagram account read.
"I just felt like for me, I am in a place where it is my right to say something and defend myself, because I'm always kind, I'm always nice," Selena told ET. "Every now and then I deserve to say what I feel."
According to MTV News, Selena Gomez performed her "Same Old Love" hit at the event after being honored with the prestigious Billboard Chart-Topper award.
