Ian Somerhalder's ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev is reportedly trying to impress "The Walking Dead" star Norman Reedus so she could land a role in the zombie-themed show.

Recently, the 27-year-old Bulgarian-Canadian actress has uploaded a photo of her with the 46-year-old "The Walking Dead" star at the American Music Awards (AMA), Ace Showbiz said in a report.

"This guy @bigbaldhead #AMAs," she said in the caption as Norman Reedus can be seen putting his arm over the shoulders of the former "The Vampire Diaries" star.

In a report by Celebrity Dirty Laundry, it looked as if Nina Dobrev, who dated "The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder for three years, is now eyeing a TV comeback as she cosied up with the actor.

"It's pretty clear that Nina Dobrev's decision to quit The Vampire Diaries for a shot at movie stardom isn't working out as well as she had planned. Producers haven't exactly been beating down her door with parts," the report said.

"Rumor has it that Nina really has no choice but to head back to the small screen - so it seems logical that she would choose a show as huge as "The Walking Dead." If she is going to settle for another TV show, it might as well be a huge one!"

The report even noted that Ian Somerhalder's ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev might be considering "The Walking Dead" and impressing Norman Reedus as she currently lacks job offers after quitting the hit tv show.

"Let's face it, if Norman Reedus "puts in a good word for you" or requests that the producers take you in to consideration for a part, you basically have the job in the bag," the report added.

Meanwhile, Gossip Cop slammed the report as they said it this is not true and that the report has no sources to validate the rumors.

In fact, Nina Dobrev is not jobless and is currently a cast for the film "Arrivals," and "Crash Pad."
