Rumors about the release date for "Pokemon GO" have been flying these past few months but up to now, there's no confirmation yet on when the final schedule would be.
A previous Ingress Report revealed that "Pokemon GO" will undergo beta testing in the latter part of this year with the expected release date next year.
"It's hard to say for sure until we receive an official line from Nintedo, but it's likely that Pokémon GO won't exit beta testing until after the New Year," said Movie Pilot.
"In true Nintendo fashion we're not going to find out anything until they want us to know, so it could continue to be a long wait as we head into winter with still no news."
There's a lot to look forward to "Pokemon GO" as Niantic CEO John Hanke explained that although gamers would have new experience with the game, they are actually going back to the very foundation of the title, and that is about a kid who explores the world and finds Pokemon along the way.
He told Venture Beat that "Pokemon GO" will feature asynchronous play.
"If someone passes through that town on a trip to somewhere else, they interact with the locations there," he said. "That makes the place feel alive, even if you didn't match with them head-to-head. The linking game in Ingress, where you link from one city to another to form big fields, means that what people might be doing in very small, remote locations is still critical to the global game. We'll find that a town in rural Mississippi all of a sudden has a global spotlight on it because it's an anchor for one of these big fields."
Nevertheless, fans would have to wait for the official announcement from Nintendo on the release date for "Pokemon GO," regardless of the rumors that seem to pop up every now and then about the expected schedule when the title would drop by the shelves.
