In "Reply 1988" Ra Mi Ran and Lee Dong Hwee were eliminated from the "National Singing Competition."
On the 16th episode of cable channel tvN Friday/Saturday drama "Reply 1988" titled "The first snow is coming" broadcast on Dec. 26th (script Lee Woo Jung, director Shin Won Ho), the episode was titled "Life's Irony."
On this day, Ryu Dong Ryong (played by Lee Dong Hwee) and Ra Mi Ran prepared for the preliminary rounds of the "National Singing Competition." Ryu Dong Ryong and Ra Mi Ran went through all sorts of preparation.
Nonetheless, Ryu Dong Rong saw that another foreigner in front of him sang the Stevie Wonder song and therefore was disappointed. The judges also listened to the fact that Ryu Dong Ryong sang the same song and after a verse, they stopped him.
Afterwards, Ra Mi Ran was in a tough situation. Instead of the accompaniment, there was a clip playing that said, "The Eggs are coming. The eggs."
Meanwhile, "Reply 1988" is the third of the reply series - "Reply 1997" and "Reply 1994." This is a comic family drama about five families who live in the same alley in 1988 in Seoul. The drama features Sung Dong Il, Lee Il Hwa, Ra Miran, Girls' Day Hye Ri, Ko Kyung Pyo, and Park Bo Gum.
