Viewers may not have tuned in yet but January 14 saw the premiere of "Detective Alice," starring Kim Nam Joo and Jo Dong Hyuk. Kim plays Chun Yeon Joo, a Food and Drug Administration investigator, who teams up with her partner to take down a food safety violator. The clues she uses to solve this case are her extremely sensitive taste buds.

She takes part in a test designed to debunk the existence of love. That's how she meets the cynical psychologist Choi Soo Hyun, played by Sung Joon, last seen in "High Society." Will the test prove love exists?
January 22 is also the premiere day for the paranormal thriller "Signal." In this drama two detectives, played by Lee Je Hoon and Kim Hye Soo, try to solve crimes based on the real-life Hwaseong Serial Murders. They get some help from a detective investigating in the past. He communicates with them through a mysterious radio frequency. The detective hope to alter history by researching over 20,000 suspects and their motives.
January 25 is the premiere date for "Neighborhood Hero," starring Park Shi Hoo and Kwon Yu Ri. Park plays a former secret agent who decides to leave his life of danger to run a local bar called "Neighborhood." As the owner of a bar he hears a lot about neighborhood crime and decides to do what he can to prevent it. He takes a young manunder his wing and the two secretly fight crime.
January 27 is the start date for "Missing Korea." This drama imagines a beauty pageant that has contestants from both North and South Korea. Although the pageant seemed like a good idea, nothing goes quite according to plans in this six-episode drama.
