Lee Sang Yoon and Moon Keun Young ended up not being able to be together in love.

On October 22nd, the last episode of MBC Monday/Tuesday drama "Goddess of Fire" (Script Kwon Sun Kyu Lee Suh Yoon, Producer Park Sung Soo Jung Dae Yoon) showed Kwang Hae Gun (played by Lee Sang Yoon) and Yoo Jung (Moon Keun Young) not able to be together in the end.

On this day, Yoo Jung went to Kwang Hae Gun who had escaped from the quarters and said, "There was not a single time that my heart didn't beat looking at your majesty. I know that it's a crime. How could I ever like you." She finally confessed her love for him.

Kwang Hae Gun was happy at the fact that Yoo Jung was on the same page as him and didn't stop Yoo Jung from heading back to quarters.

After returning to quarters, Yoo Jung lost her father Lee Gang Chun (played by Jun Kwang Ryeol) had a tough time before deciding to go to Japan. Yoo Jung looked around quarters and then went on a boat to Japan. Kwang Hae Gun heard of Yoo Jung's news and went to the dock but the ship had already sailed.

And then seventeen years passed. Kwang Hae Gun saw the dish that Yoo Jung made and said, "You've been the best porcelain maker as you wished" and smiled. Yoo Jung showed a more mature side and said, "I learned the best porcelain maker has to be one that beats oneself, not others." However, when Kwang Hae Gun came back to his senses, Yoo Jung was not there. Kwang Hae Gun looked up to the sky and said, "Have you been well, Jung?" and regretted the fact that he couldn't meet Yoo Jung.
