"Secret Boutique" is a melodrama-genre drama written by Hwang Sun Jee directed by Park Hyung Ki who also directed, "Scent of A Woman", "Dr. Champ" and "Could We Love?".

The story of the melodrama talks about the power and revenge surrounding the international city development gate of a woman playing power games for survival.

The story will mainly focus on how we differentiate woman power, as well as the drama, will also depict corruption and the value of money: where you can survive and gain power if you have this.

Kim Sun Ah will play the role of Jenny Jang, who is the owner of a boutique named J- Boutique. Despite becoming successful and may look like Jenny Jang was born with a gold spoon in her mouth, the drama will reveal how she started from scratch, living as an orphan in an orphanage for 18 years.

During that age, she learns that the reality of life is cruel and escaped at a young age in the orphanage when her male teacher sexually harassed her.

She was then landed at the City of Gangnam and found her stable job in a bathing house in the luxurious Gangnam. She then becomes familiar with the Gangnam housewives as she works for women.

Later on, Jang Mi Hee, who played the role of Kim Yeo Ok of Deo Company, scouted Jenny Jang to become her daughter Ye Nam(Park Hee Von)help, opening a door for her to enter the world of the upper-class women.

Initially, Lee Mi Sook was chosen to play the role of Kim Yeo Ok but then, she declined due to some personal reasons and the final casting for the role was given to Jang Min Hee.

The production team also revealed that though J- Boutique might look like a normal clothing and accessory boutique, there's a hidden secret behind the elegant and friendly personality of Jenny Jang, she might look like that, but she and the store, in reality, is a location for a small law firm which helps in dealing the issue and matters of the upper-class person or family privately and it also connects into the political world.
