"Melo Is My Nature" Presents Realistic Moments of a Relationship

JTBC's "Melo Is My Nature" has been attracting the viewers with its lifelike portrayal of romance.

In the latest episode of the drama, Jin Joo, who is played by Chun Woo Hee, recalled about her previous long-term relationship with a man named Hwan Don, who is portrayed by Lee Yoo Jin. Like many other couples in real life, the pair would share sweet moments, only to have arguments later on, and then make peace with each other.

The viewers have noticed some moments from the recent episode that have had them agreeing to it while thinking about their own relationships. First, there is a scene at a lecture room where Jin Joo and Hwan Dong kept on looking at each other, and Jin Joo then made the first move by asking Hwan Dong to have a meal together.

When the two were already alone, Jin Joo commanded, "Here now, tell me what it is that you want to say." After a few drinks, Hwan Dong courageously said, "I like you." And that's how their story began.

As time slips away, the couple became used to their frequent fights. As Jin Joo stated, "Around the time we grew to completely believe that constant disputes don't necessarily end in breakups, we put our faith on that belief, and ironically, that causes us not to tolerate our differences, unlike the way we did we just started.

That's how the brawls became more recurrent and intense. I mean, prettier." Jin Joo and Hwan Dong then began the breakup and make-up setup, only showing how casually they handle their relationship.

The moment came when their relationship ended complicatedly, with each side scratching each other. Saying these lines, "It's not because I can't forget him. It's because I can't forget the misery I put up with," Jin Joo cried for four days, all day and night.

And because of this, Jin Joo promised never to love again. However, romance seems to start blooming in her heart, as she feels her heart pounding when Bum Soo, played by Ahn Jae Hong, talks to her.

"Melo Is My Nature" airs during Fridays and Saturdays at 10:50 p.m. KST.
