On the recent count of the integrated network of admission tickets for Yeongjinwi movie theater for the 31st of August, Kim Go Eun and Jung Hae In's movie accumulated 16,241 people nationwide. A cumulative audience of 53,9293 people.
It exceeded the movie, "Introduction to Architecture" who only mobilized 49,2579 people for the same day when it is released.
Following "Yu Yeol's Music Album" at ranking is the movie "Transformation" with 15,905 moviegoers and third in Line is a movie, "Exit" with 13,515 people moviegoers.
"Yuyeol's Music Album" mobilized 17,562 people on the first day of the 28th. After 7 years, it was the first melodramatic film who broke the blockbuster office film.
It was the first boxing record ever in a melodramatic film ever, breaking the record of the melodramatic film's best opening in seven years released last October 31, 2012.
The Korean film "Yu Yeol's Music Album" storyline will take place in the year 1994, where Kim Go Eun plays the role of Misu who fall in love at first sight with Jung Hae In's role, Hyeon Woo, upon seeing him in the bakery shop she works as a part-time worker. Hyeon Woo and Misu eventually developed feelings for each other and due to some events, will eventually break up.
The central theme of the story is love is beautiful but it is indeed hard for everyone, and people won't get used to it.
The movie really piques the viewer's interest due to the unfiltered romance of the two characters. Where in, in the movie, it shows the reality that loving someone is not just about having feelings for each other. It also showcases the process of loving, experiencing difficulties and the crisis of falling out of love.
But, then it shows an optimistic side of loving a lesson where, even if the time goes by in the movie, the character of Misu and Hyeon Wool, even after two decades, make their connection through the radio where symbolizes how their love grows.
Overall, it is the story of love at first sight,making a bond, growing into love falling out of love, supporting each other despite the gap, a romance everyone can relate to.
