The drama, "Arthdal Chronicles" was aired after the highest rating Korean drama, "Hotel Del Luna" through TVN which is the broadcasting channel who is constantly producing high rating Korean dramas and TV shows. Due to this, fans and viewers were expecting this jinx, that they will have a back to back high rated dramas.

On the other hand, the production team released character posters of 'Arthdal Chronicles" giving the viewers the feeling of excitement and tension due to the strong impact of each poster.

Jang Dong-Gun showed his powerful impression of his character, where fans and viewers were anticipating the events after the people make him the leader of their League and the next scenes that will be shown after leaving the viewers hanging when it was revealed on the Season 2 that Tagon, ( Dong-Gun) is, in fact, an Igutu, (half-blooded Neanthal or monsters and Saram).

On Kim Ji Won's poster, Tanya (Ji won) was seen wearing a white dress instead of their usual Wahan Tribe costume, which is the white dress is the identity of the tribe focused on the Gods. After discovering she was the direct descendant of the founder of their tribe. She became the high Priest, making it an advantage for Tagon to destroy his enemies blocking him to become the King.
