The upcoming KBS 2TV's Korean drama series "Tale of Nok-Du" revealed its new teaser starring Kim So Hyun. This drama series is based on a webtoon wherein a historical rom-com tells us the story of a man named Jeon Nok Du played by Jang Dong Yoon whose characters will disguise himself as a woman to enter into a mysterious all-female community. By then, he meets Kim So Hyun who will play the role of Dong Dong Joo who is a gisaeng in training who wanted to be anything in gisaeng or a female courtesan.
Afterward, the video will show on with Kim So Hyun that boldly cuts her braided hair and turning it into a bobbed hairstyle that will set her apart from everyone else that will see her in the community. The look that she has into her face as she pulls back a bowstring on it in another scene will show her character how assertive and righteous personality she has.
Meanwhile, by the final part, she is lying in a bed and saying these lines to herself, "I didn't even know this was the inn you were talking about. Why? Because I have no interest in you at all." Although she says this, she actually seems to be in denial stage of her attraction towards Jeon Nok Du. Set in the Joseon dynasty or a dynastic kingdom that lasted for approximately five centuries, the first script reading of the series was held last June 2019 at KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, Seoul, South Korea.
The series was filmed in Dongmakol and from the different areas of South Korea. Although the series was suspended its production on July 4, 2019, in wake of actress Jeon Mi-Seon's death she was cast as Cheon Hae-Su, still, it continues the flow and stills of the story.
"The Tale of Nok-Du" is set to premiere this coming September 30, 2019, and this will be available on Viki with English subtitles for the viewers.
