Kim Sung-Cheol was asked how he felt when he got the role in the movie "Jangsari," he said, "I was grateful that the production crew trusted me. I paid a lot of attention (to acting). In fact, I was very frustrated after the first shoot. I was always nervous while acting, but this time I was sweating, and my hands were shaking when we were filming. The pressure was great. I think there was a lot of psychological pressure in every way," he said, expressing her joy and pressure he felt at the time.

He was attracted to his role as Ki Ha-Ryun and joined 'Jangsari.' "It's a war movie that I've never tried, and the role of Ha-Ryun was fascinating. I thought it was the most emotional role of all." Ha-Ryun and Choi Sung-Pil, played by Minho from SHINEE, show extraordinary friendship in the film when in fact, Geo-Ryun hated Choi Sung Pil at first.

One of the most difficult things to do while preparing for the role of Ha-Ryun was the dialect. He is a native-born and raised in Seoul. " "I'm a total Seoulite. This is the most stressful character I've ever played. For an actor, a line is the fastest way to communicate, and if you can't do it, you're giving your character out. That's why I paid the most attention to my dialect," he said with the thoughts of pressure on this role.

Historical films are often derived as "Korean Mulberry Films." In response, Kim Sung-Cheol said, "This is actually history. Ha-Ryun was only a student soldier during the Korean War. While expressing his opinion by saying, "I don't think much about Korean mulberry patriotism." He added, "A military unit brings patriotism to the end of the sky. As I work in society, I forget again. I think my patriotism has gotten better with this film," he said.

Meanwhile, he recently had a break as he had been working nonstop since last year to this year for being a part of 'Prison Playbook', 'Arthdal Chronicles', and 'The Wind Blows.' "I ran so fast that I needed time to look back, put one's heart and soul into the business. It's a war movie, and the dialect was hard."

"The way I wanted to go as an actor until last year was different from the way I had entered this year. I always ran ahead. I'm resting, and I feel so grateful. I'm so grateful that I can do everything. "

The movie 'Jangsari: Forgotten Heroes' will be released on the 25th in theaters nationwide.
