Han Seung Yeon as the New Ambassador for Korea Paral Smartphone Film Festival

On September 20, the singer-actress Han Seung Yeon's agency announced that Han was appointed as the new ambassador for the 2nd Korea Paral Smartphone Film Festival this 2019.

The main purpose of the event is to present an educational film, as well as to work with disabled and non-disabled people to pursue this profession by using their smartphones.

On the other hand, Han Seung Yeon, born in 1988, enters the field of entertainment at a very young age. She started as a child actress where she made an appearance for the movie, "Dear Ends" in 1993. She also made an appearance for the films, "Summer Showers' and "Star in my Heart".

However, due to her studies, she has to fly from Korea to the US leaving her no other option to be on hiatus in acting.

After years, she then appeared as a member of the popular group "Kara" which she became infamous for her amazing vocals and producing hit Korean songs. But then on 2016, the band announced their disbandment due to the members who did not renew their contracts with their agency, including her.

After the disbandment, Seung Yeon then created her name on the acting industry for her outstanding role for the drama, "Hello, My Twenties!" in 2016 followed by its another season, "Hello, My Twenties 2" on 2017. Her name also created noise for her role during, "About Time" and "12 Nights" where she gained a lot of positive comments and praises for her acting skills.

Meanwhile, Han Seung Yeon, upon her appointment as the ambassador for the film festival, said, "It is a meaningful film festival where people with disabilities and non-disabled people can collaborate and receive special impressions that they do not feel in their daily lives."

She then promises to do her best as an ambassador.

Korea Paral Smartphone Film Festival will be running from September 21 to 24 with the tag line, "Make Together, See Together" and it will be held at ECC Theater, Art House Momo, and Multipurpose Hall.
