Lee Jae Wook Talks About Extraordinary You And His Acting Experiences

Lee Jae Wook is a promising young actor who is seen in the tvN's drama "Memories of Alhambra" and also appeared in tvN's "Search:WWW" a year ago. After just one year he gained popularity in MBC's drama "Extraordinary You". Lee Jae Wook shared in an interview that he really misses the staff and fellow actors on set. He said that Baek Kyun from the drama "Extraordinary You" will be his most memorable role of the year 2019.

There was an episode in the drama that was in the Goryeo Dynasty setting. And when he was asked if it was his first time acting in a Sageuk, the actor replied with a "Yes". He said that on his mind, he always thought that historical dramas are mostly set in the Joseon Dynasty but in this particular drama that he was in it was played in the Goryeo Dynasty. He claimed that it was completely different from what he is used to seeing so he finds it difficult. He also added that acting in a historical tone was hard. He said he'd mess up the lines of the script since he was not 100 percent prepared. He also said that next time when acting in a historical drama he will make sure that he is prepared.

The Young actor shared that working with peoples the same as his age made it easier for him to adjust and communicate. He claimed that the vibes and energy on set were very high and that made it comfortable for him. He stated that there were no drawbacks.

Lee Jae Wook continues to discuss and share his experience working with Kim Hye Yoon. He stated that their personality really matched well. She is a person with high energy. Also, Lee Jae Wook calls Hye Hoon as Noona (older sister). He said that Hye Hoon is in charge of creating the set with energy. He claimed that they both worked well together. When they have a new idea they would present and discuss it to the director and he would approve it.

When the young actor was asked if there is another role or character in the drama that he would like to play the then answered that we would really like to play the role of Do Hwa (Jung Gun Joo). His role is having a friendly personality and also a person to sets the mood.

Lee Jae Wook also shared his insights about acting. He said that acting is really fun and he is completely satisfied. But at the same time, it can be stressful and difficult but when he is done with a project, all he feels is excitement and happiness. After working hard on the project he feels excited when they would receive recognition and approval.

The young actor laughed at some comment online that jokingly talked about wanting to squeeze in between wrinkles caused by Baek Kyung's knitted brows. He said that whenever he hears it, he feels strange. In his next project which is "I'll Go to you When the Weather is Nice", he will not be frowning anymore.

Lee Jae Wook is agreed to appear in JTBC's new drama, "I'll Go to You When the Weather Is Nice," next year.
