The famous South Korean actor Go Soo rose to fame because of his appearances in television series such as Will it snow for Christmas?, Piano, and Green Rose. He also starred in the films The Front Line and White Night.
Years back when the actor came to Seoul, he did some stage acting but was not financially stable. So he decided to put his acting career on hold and eventually he stopped. He then started presenting his profile photo to some acting agencies or companies. The first appearance of Goo Soo was in a soft drink television commercial. Then next he was seen as an extra role in the Band Position's 1998 music video "Last Promise". Then in the year 1999, he made his television debut as an actor in the MBC sitcoms "My Funky Family" and "Jump". He is also part of the KBS2 drama series "Ad Madness". Some viewers described Gong Soo as an actor with precision.
Then years later Go was recognized in the big screen as a drug crime officer in the movie titled "some" released back in 2004. In this movie, he did and performed his own stunts and later on tagged as the Best New Actor at the Grand bell awards. In the same year, he was reunited with his "Ad Madness" co-star Park Ye Jin in a television series "When A Man Loves A Woman". Then after his 2004 dramas and films, he then starred in a revenge drama titled "Green Rose" which was shot in some locations in China and Korea. His role in this drama was a simple man who falls in love with a wealthy woman. Then he gets accused of a crime he did not make. Then the list of his films and drama just keeps ongoing.
Fast forward to this year, Go Soo is again a star of an upcoming tvN drama titled "Money Game". TvN release sneaks peeks of Go Soo as Chae Yi Heon. Chae Yi Heon is an economic government official.
This drama features a set of major Korean banks that are failing and are on the verge of declaring bankruptcy. Then a group of workers at the financial service commission is trying to stop the country from a crisis. Chae Yi Heon then hides the reality that he is from a wealthy family so that he could be known for his own talent and abilities.
In the new still released, we can see Chae Yeon Looking very ambitious in a very nice suit with a fierce look in his eyes. The actor has been focusing on filming "Money Game" since this summer. He said that the drama plot of "Money Game" is really Good, and the more that they film this drama the more interesting it becomes. So he keeps on thinking how to make the scenes of the film more interesting and meaningful.
The premiere of the "Money Game" is set in January 2020. Another reason to look forward to the year 2020!
