There are a lot of K-pop idols that are being offered some acting roles these days. Although some of them are not yet officially full-time actors, when we see them in dramas, web dramas, short films or even some special, it makes us feel excited and makes us want to watch them act some more.
We will give you a list of some K-pop idols that we have seen on small screen with their acting talent that captured and melted our hearts away!
1. Kang Seung Yoon from WINNER in "We Broke Up"
This drama is based on the webtoon that has the same title. The main star of the drama is Kang Seung Yoon playing the role of Ji Won Young. He is a striving musician. And his partner in this drama is Sandara Park playing the role of No Woo Ri, his love interest. The story then follows as this couple's relationship from the startup until it blossoms than they eventually part ways and how they deal with their new situation.
Sueng Yoon is very natural when it comes to acting and portraying his role. He is perfect in showing his caring and charming side on romantic scenes and he is also very cheerful and full of charisma throughout the storyline.
His amazing acting skills did not go unnoticed since we won an award for this as Best Actor by K9web Fest.
Well, one thing is for sure, seeing Kang Seung Yoon acting makes us crave and want some more of it!
2. Jaemin from NCT in "How to Hate You"
"How to Hate You" follows the dating adventures of Oh Mi Ri, a college freshman who finds herself struggling to navigate love and friendship on campus.
This is another webtoon-based adaptation; Jaemin plays Han Dae Kang, a freshman who makes friends with Oh Mi Ri played by Kim Ji In. While doing a group project the two stars later become part of a classic love triangle which he decides to play in his favor.
Jaemin's character is a person who has a seemingly cold personality, but deep down he is warm and truly caring. Also, he is a good looking and charming man that does not go unnoticed.
During the whole storyline of the special, he's acting effortlessly and he's such a natural when it comes to switching from being indifferent to a total sweetheart.
The idol may just have got started a promising acting career with this role!
3. Bomin from Golden Child in "A-TEEN 2"
Bomin joins this drama as part of the rich line up of rookie actors and actresses. His lead role in this drama is Ryu Joo Ha, he is a transfer student who makes is making new friends and trying to deals with the challenges in his life.
Bomin's character in this drama is a mysterious guy that seems to keep to himself a lot, but that doesn't stop him from becoming one of the popular students in school.
One of his most treasured relationships at school is his romance with APRIL member Naeun's who plays the character Kim Ha Na, where he shows off his swoony side. It goes to show that these two gave the viewers some lovey-dovey moments that undoubtedly melted our hearts!
