The movie "Start-up" directed by Choi Jung-yeol is expected to surpass 2 million ticket sales this week. Amid the steady rise in ticket sales rates for the Christmas season, the movie's sales continue to rise daily.
According to the integrated network of admission tickets for the movie promotion committee on the 27th, "Start-up" ranked third place on the 26th with 12,360 people who watched it in a day. The cumulative audience has already reached 1,082,903 million people. The movie is expected to reach 2 million viewers this week.
"Start-up" continues to show a steady increase in sales of tickets at 16.5%, 39.9% and 66% from the 23rd to the 25th respectively. In particular, the ticket rates indicates the actual audience who with sold seats which also mirrors the high-satisfaction of the viewers toward the movie.
Meanwhile, "Start-up" maintains a high rating of 92% in its second week on the CGV Golden Egg Index. The film is about a delightful story of a rebel, Taek-il (Park Jung-min), who meets an unidentified chef (Ma Dong-Seok), and an enthusiastic person Sang-in (Jung Hae-in).
