On the 7th of January, actress Kang Sora took part in an interview with MyDaily to endorse her new upcoming film "We Don't Hurt You."
In the interview, the actress said that she likes it more that she is in her 30's than being in her 20's (she is referring to her age). She claimed that when she entered her 30's age she began to feel more mentally relaxed and comfortable. She learned something more about herself so she feels like she had settled down right now.
She smiled and continued that she has now learned how to love herself. In her 20's she said that she feels that she needed to do a lot of things. She was worried about what would happen if she did not do something and also felt confused if it would help her career or harm it if she did it. She had so many concerns like these in her 20's. So she learned a lot of different things and didn't have enough time to think about things.
Kang Sora then continued that this was her first time resting for 1 year and from an outsider's point of view, it seems as if she had a deep break. But then even on those three months of resting, she still accepted projects like, filming ads, attended events and she claimed that she never really had the chance to rest properly, and just recently had a break and was given the chance to reflect.
While she was meditating and not trying to do something, she had to deeply think about herself and she would give her happiness. The actress added that she is now living for herself, and not for other people. If not, then she thinks she will regret this time when she is very much older. And since this time only exists at the moment, she said she wants to enjoy it a bit more right now rather than regretting it in the future.
Kang Sora went viral lately because of the Elsa parody she made while singing the song "Into the Unknown" from "Frozen 2." She posted a video on Instagram and she explained that she is not afraid of being funny. She added that it is just the way she is and a lot of people around her did not agree to post the clip. Her agency was against it because it would affect her image. Then the actress said, "but if I like it, isn't that all that matters?"
Ending the interview, the actress also shared about her future plans. "I don't have a set project yet, but I want to appear in a film," she said. "I had such a good experience in 'We Don't Hurt You' that I want the actors and the director to work together again in a film as wonderful as that one. I miss the time we had when we were shooting together," she continued.
In the meantime, you can start watching Kang Sora in "Revolutionary Love" now!
