On the 10th of January the upcoming new variety show of tVN entitled "Friday Friday Night" held a press conference. There present was the Producing Directors (PD) of the said show Na Young Suk and Jang Eun Jung alongside them is writer Kim Dae Joo also present in the press conference.

The new variety show casts feature a lot of stars that PD Na Young Suk has previously has worked with in the past. These celebrities are WINNER's Song Mino, SECHSKIES's Eun Ji Won, Lee Seung Gi, and Lee Seo Jin. It has already been a long time (five years) since actor Lee Seung Gi has worked with Na Young Suk after the first season of the variety show "New Journey to the West" in 2015. The actor is vocal about wanting to work with the variety show producing director again.

Na Young Suk said At the press conference that they are trying something new so the chances are big that some things will not go as planned. The PD also said that there was a part of him that wants to cast people that he was close with so that he might feel a little less apologetic. The director added that if hires or cast someone for the first time and the project fails, it would be very embarrassing.

Na Young Suk also shared that Lee Seung Gi had warmly accepted the casting offer even though he warned the actor that it would be a risky move. The PD said, he told him that there was risk involved but he was cool about it and the actor replied "Let's work together again.'"

The PD added that he needed someone sincere, and Lee Seung Gi popped up to his mind. The whole nation knows who Lee Seung Gi is, and he is very earnest at heart. Whatever work he is given to, rest assured that he'll show that he is doing it well.

Na Young Suk said jokingly that he thought that he would have changed a lot in five years, but he was not able to meet the PD's expectations. More seriously, he continued to add that they both meet a lot off-camera, but on-camera the actor was the same as he was before. When the PD started filming with Lee Seung Gi again, he then thought that the nickname they gave him on '2 Days & 1 Night' was a good one. Even though it was 10 years ago, he is still as clumsy as he was before.

He continued to say that he still has the contract he made with Lee Seung Gi during '2 Days & 1 Night.' And that contract is going to expire in February 2020. He also gave Lee Seung Gi that contract and told him that they should work hard together until the end. But the truth is, that contract was about appearing on '2 Days & 1 Night,' so it ineffective. It is not related to this show, which carries a lot of risks, but Lee Seung Gi readily agreed to appear anyway. He also added that he is very grateful to Lee Seung Gi.
