Announcing the 2019 nominees for the 26th Screen Actors Guild Awards on December 11, 2019. The 26th Screen Actors Guild Awards will take place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles California to honor the best achievements and immaculate creativity of films and motion pictures created in the year 2019.
Included in the nominations is, as fans say, the immaculate film by South Korean filmmaker, Bong Joon Ho, called Parasite. According to viewers, the movie "Parasite" is filled with visual wit and the richness and performance of the characters are unquestionable brilliance. This led to nominations in 6 categories in the 92nd Academy Awards.
The nominations of the movie are Best Picture (Director Barunson E&A Kwak Shin Ae, directed by Bong Joon Ho), Best Director (Bong Joon Ho), Best Original Screenplay (Bong Joon Ho, Han Jin Won), Best International Feature Film, Best Production Design (Lee Ha Joon), Best Editing (Yang Jin Mo).
It is confirmed that the main cast of the film including director Bong Joon Ho, actors Choi Woo Shik, Lee Sun Gyun and Park So Dam will be attending the 26th Screen Actors Guild Awards in January 19, 2020, and the actors will be leaving South Korea anytime this week.
They were honored to be nominated with award, Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture at this awards ceremony. Competing with them for the same award are films including "The Irishman", "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", "Bombshell" and "Jojo Rabbit". Actors of the film, Parasite, mentioned that they have adjusted their schedules to attend the 26th Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Other actors who take part in the film have participated in several past awarding ceremonies and film festivals in the United States. Parasite is also the 2nd foreign film and first Korean film who won Best Foreign Language Film at the 77th Golden Globe Awards and received six nominations for the 92ndAcademy awards.
In the 26th Screen Actor Guild awards, which will be happening on the 19th day of January, represents about 160,000 actors and professionals in the film industry in America.
