The High Society Actor Sung Joon Reveals He Is Married And Has A Child

The South Korean actor who rose to fame through the dramas Flower Band and High Society, Sung Joon, revealed that he was secretly married before he enlisted.

"Right before I joined the military service training, I met a woman who I want to spend the rest of my life with. As we were preparing for the marriage, we found out that my soon-to-be-wife at that time was pregnant. I was extremely happy," the actor wrote in a letter for his agency.

The 29-year old registered their marriage but kept it in secret for his wife is a non-celebrity. After that, Sung Joon already joined the military. He is expected to finish his military service in July of this year.

"Right now, I was transferred to reserve service so that during off-hours from duty, I can spend time with my wife and kid. I want to take this opportunity to apologize to everyone for this sudden news. I hope you could support us and be happy for us. I sincerely ask for everybody's understanding," the actor wrote.

O&, Sung Joon's agency, informed the press that the actor's wife is not a celebrity so they couldn't release any information about her.
