"The Closet” Reached 1 Million Viewers Only 11 Days After Its Release

The South Korean movie "The Closet," ranked first in its first week of the box office and continued to be popular as it reached 1 million viewers.

On the 15th, according to the integrated network of movie theaters, the movie has officially surpassed over 1 million viewers. The Closet is a mysterious story about a man who wonders what's behind his daughter's disappearance.

The movie has been captivating a wide range of movie fans from different generations with its unique and thrilling storyline. The story which was used in the closet was also used in the west. This had led the audience to a different story with an oriental sentiment.

Meanwhile, Ha Jung-woo, Kim Nam-gil, and director Kim Gwang-bin released their 1 million anniversary commemorative shots with much appreciation to all the movie-goers. They were smiling and holding a red bean cake from Shiru-teok with the caption "Thank you 1 million! Particularly Shiru-teok which uses red adzuki beans and has a magical flavor that can keep even ghosts away."
