'The World of The Married' to be headlined by actress Kim Hee-ae is unveiling little by little. The JTBC's new Friday-Saturday drama, directed by Mo Wan-Il, released Kim Hee-ae's first stills.
"She was fascinated by the power of driving with tension," Kim Hee-ae, who revealed the reason for choosing this work as her comeback after four years.
Based on the BBC drama 'Doctor Foster: A Woman Scorned', it tells a story of a married couple who hit rock bottom after the husband committed an affair.
Kim Hee-ae depicts the delicate emotions of her character, the family physician Ji Sun-woo. The elegance of Ji Sun-woo, her smile and confident eyes that let the viewers know how dignified she is. This is just a glimpse and the beginning of how perfect Ji Sun-woo's life was.
In the pictures that follow, Ji Sun-Woo is showing confused and crestfallen emotions. She Ji sports wet hair and evokes anxious feelings. Kim Hee-ae's brilliant acting managed to be in character and convey the message and emotions of Ji Sun-woo, or who we can call as the scorned woman.
Ji Sun-woo had everything, such as a perfect family and fame. She has a stable career and she is undeniably well-off. She is blessed, indeed, and is happy about her husband's unchanging love. Kim Hee-ae becomes in depth with Ji Sun-woo and will push deep emotions that are never superficial.
Kim Hee-ae shared, "Ji Sun-woo shows both her strength and weakness at the same time. I will try to make it a time for viewers to read various emotions such as love and anger."
'The World of The Married' will air for the first time on March 27.
