TV network tvN posted a new video teaser of the forthcoming drama 'Hospital Playlist', along with the main cast. The series, which can also be streamed on Netflix, is slated to grace our screens on March 12. In the teaser, the five main characters-one woman and four men in their 40s-are introduced one by one and have been best friends since their medical school days. All of them are doctors.

The Korean drama will revolve around the life of doctors who have been friends since 1999 and are working in the same hospital. Apart from the obvious comedic element of it, the series will show their struggles in their daily life and their career and how much they cling on the oath they made. The drama will also show how they handle death, life, sickness, and pain.

At the start of the teaser, the lady doctor and the only woman in the squad Chae Song Hwa (played by Jeon Mi Do) was introduced by the narrator as the one who 'has no flaws' and the 'emotional pillar' of the group. In another scene, Ik-Joon (Cho Jung Seok) is the brainiac who goes clubbing every night but still gets the highest scores in practical and written exams. Joon Wan (Jung Kyung Ho) is 'one of the best surgeons' and is seen entering a surgery room. Then, there's Seok Hyeong (Kim Dae Myung) who's 'socially withdrawn'. Last is Jung Won (Yoo Yeon Seok) who treats his friends differently than his patients.

'Hospital Playlist' is directed by Shin Won Ho, the man behind the 'Prison Playbook', 'Reply 1988', 'Reply 1994', and 'Reply 1997'. The upcoming drama is also written by Lee Woo Jung, who also wrote the 'Reply' series. The management of tvN already confirmed for a 'Hospital Playlist' season 2, which will air by 2021.

In a recent report, it states that most South Korean major events, which includes filming of dramas, may be put on hold in light of the coronavirus outbreak. Everyone is trying to protect the actors and crew members from any possible infection. One of these is the ongoing 'I'll Go to You When The Weather is Fine'.

'Hospital Playlist' is set to air every Thursday of the week and will premiere on March 12, 2020. It will come out with 12 episodes.
