The new stills of Park Hae Jin working on the upcoming MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama "Old School Intern" has been unveiled!
MBC's upcoming drama "Old-School Intern" will be a comical office drama that features the office worker portrayed by Park Hae Jin who decided to move to another company after experiencing hardships under his boss who is played by actor Kim Eung Soo. After transferring to a different company, he worked so hard to climb the corporate ladder and eventually became the head of the marketing and sales team. However, things took an interesting twist when one day, his former superior suddenly appeared at his company as a senior intern.
The talented actor Park Hae Jin will portray the role of Ga Yeol Chan, who is the upper-class head of the marketing team at the ramyeon branch of Jun Su Foods. He invented a spicy chicken stir-fried noodle that became a massive wave in the ramyeon industry. Because of this, he swiftly got promoted into the high ranks in his company.
There is a much anticipation rising for the brotherly romance between Park Hae Jin and Kim Eung Soo. Viewers are also watching out for the kind of transformation that Park Hae Jin will make as he adopt on a more comical role. The newly released stills will show a sneak peek of Park Hae Jin transforming into Ga Yeol Chan, the youngest department head at his job.
Park Hae Jin took home the Best Actor award at the 2016 Korean Cable TV Awards. After the great success of "Cheese in the Trap" TV series, he was then confirmed to replay his role as Jung in the film adaptation of the webtoon. This was released in the year 2018.
Later in the same year, he was part of the cast in the Chinese drama titled "Far Away Love" which he portrayed the character of a successful businessman who is the proprietor of an awe-inspiring restaurant and eventually falls in love with a poor young woman. Park Hae Jin is considered a very talented actor since he was awarded the "Male Actor of the Year" award at LeTV Entertainment Awards held in Beijing, China. Because of his achievements and success abroad, it led him to be featured on Chinese postage stamps, making him the first Korean to be on Chinese stamps that are released as both regular issues and limited edition.
In the year 2017, Park Hae Jin was cast in the romance thriller "Four Men", which was scheduled to be premiered in 2018 but unfortunately confronted with multiple delays and the production was eventually canceled because of a contractual breach. In the current year 2020, he starred in the romantic comedy-drama "Forest" playing the character of a special emergency rescue team worker.
"Old-School Intern" is scheduled to broadcast in mid-May as the next series to take over "Find Me in Your Memory" after its finale.
