Song Joong Ki Will Have his House with Song Hye Kyo Demolished + Bought $2.88 M House in Hawaii
Almost a year after actor Song Joong Ki started living the single life after his divorce with Song Hye Kyo, the actor decided to have their old couple house demolished.
According to the reports, Song Joong Ki bought the mansion in Itaewon around $11.6 million and that is where he and Song Hye Kyo lived after getting married. The house holds memories of his married life. A few months before their divorce hit the headlines, they stopped going to the mansion already. Song Joong Ki finished his marriage with Song Hye Kyo last July 2019. Since then, no one occupied the house. The house is listed under Song Joong Ki's name.
Just recently, people saw an announcement posted outside the property. The notice serves as an information for the neighboring houses to know about the demolition plans of the said property. There are, however, considerations needed to do first. One, is to check the owner abides with the law for any renovation or demolition, and second, is to ensure that no damage may be caused within the area and no public disturbance as well.
Song Joong Ki needs to get permission which takes time for all the surveys to be completed. The actor reconsiders to construct a two-story with underground rooms. South Korea is strict with any reconstruction especially in Itaewon as one of the expensive places in Seoul.
The actor never stops to find a place to unwind and keep him away from the media. Song Joong Ki acquired a new property in Hawaii which cost him $2.88 million.
