We usually look for series or movies to watch to pass the time, especially during this period that we're often stuck at home. We now have the luxury of time in our hands to not only catch up on the shows that we've bookmarked and the newly released shows!

If you're looking for some hidden treasures within the K-drama world, here are some recommendations for you to choose from.

The first K-drama to watch is "Come and Hug Me," directed by Choi Joon-bae. He also directed the series "The King's Daughter, Soo Baek-Hyang," and also "The Sons."

Expect this series to be as cliché as it seems, but it most certainly is not. Both leads, Chae Do Jin, who starred as Jang Ki Yong, and Han Jae Yi, who starred as Jin Ki Joo, were high school sweethearts, yet something traumatic happened that led to their separation. The male leads' father is a serial killer and resulted in killing the entire family of Jae Yi.

As time passes by, they reunited, and the Do Jin's father was being bailed out of jail and wants to carry through with his job and finally kill Jae Yi. This series brings not only butterflies in our stomach, but it also gives us the thrill because of the anticipation it provides.

The second is "Just between Lovers." This K-drama is relatable to aspiring athletes who did everything to be successful, yet they faced a tragedy that changed their fate forever.

Lee Gang Do (Junho) aspires to become a professional soccer player, but his dreams were crushed because of an accident. Because of this, he finds ways to get through life in the daily and takes weird jobs.

Ha Moon So (Won Jin Ah) has also faced the harshness of life. The two then formed a connection that makes their relationship stronger. Their relationship seems simple yet very complex. Because of what happened in their past, they have found peace with each other.

It is a K-drama worth watching since it shows the growth of a person once he/she finds someone who makes both of them grow for the better. We may imply the lessons given in this K-drama in our daily lives, that we should always fight and become the better person we were yesterday.

And lastly is "1% of Something." This series is one of those kinds where it is very predictable, but the connection of both leads makes the series meaningful.

Lee Jae In (Ha Seok Jin) was obliged to be in a relationship with Kim Da Hyun (Jun So Min). Both leads are total opposites with each other, and they ended up agreeing on having a contract of their relationship.

They usually do things that normal couples do. They fight a lot, but they eventually make ends meet with their relationship. But we all know that sometimes, good things come to an end when their contract expired. You can see and feel how heavy and heartbreaking it is and portrayed it very well on screen.
