In the recent prestigious Baeksang Arts Awards, Korean drama stars Lee Byung Hun and Kim Hee Ae are just among the actors who were able to take home trophies, recognizing their superb performances.
This year's 56th Baeksang Arts Awards is celebrated differently from the past event since the audience members are the actors and actresses themselves while fans weren't physically present to follow the COVID-19 precautionary measures. However, it was still thrilling because of how aggressive the competition was in various categories.
The Best Actor for TV nominees, who have had previous nominations in the same categories in the past, are Hyun Bin ("The Snow Queen" in 2007, "Secret Garden" in 2011, and "Memories of The Alhambra" in 2018), Park Seo Joon (for "Fight for My Way" in 2018), Namkoong Min (for "Remember" in 2016 and "Good Manager" in 2017).
Meanwhile, the Best Actress for TV nominees includes Kim Hee Ae (for "My Husband's Woman" in 2008), Lee Ji Eun (IU) (for "My Mister" in 2019), and Kim Hye Soo (for "The Queen of Office" in 2014).
