Kim Soo Hyun received a special treat from three of his celebrity friends, Lee Hyun Woo, Park Seo Joon, and IU, while on the set of "It's Ok to Not Be Okay." How sweet!
In the showbiz industry, it has been customary that friends send a coffee truck, or it may be a tea truck or whatever they have in mind to a friend who still has ongoing filming.
And guess what, the Kim Soo Hyun received a food and coffee truck from his celebrity friends Lee Hyun Woo, Park Seo Joon, and IU! The truck banner even states, "To all the cast and crew, please enjoy this and keep up the good work."
Definitely, the staff members are pleased, and their spirits were lifted due to this surprise gift. The gesture was actually reciprocated by the three when Kim Soo Hyun sent them a food truck last May while the three were also filming "Dream."
How great it is to have friends who support you and values your friendship!
Here is a little information on how they became acquainted. Park Seo Joon and Kim Soo Hyun are formerly in the same entertainment company, KeyEast Entertainment, making them friends for a long time.
Lee Hyun Woo and Kim Soo Hyun became close friends when they did the movie "Secretly Greatly" in 2013, where both played as North Korean spies. Their friendship blossomed since then.
On the other hand, the singer-songwriter and actress IU are apparently close friends of Kim Soo Hyun. They co-starred in the television series "Dream High" in 2011 and "The Producers" in 2015. Also, the actor made a cameo appearance in the finale episode of "Hotel Del Luna." What's more? Kim Soo Hyun appeared in IU's music video "Ending Scene."
Additionally, Kim Soo Hyun sent a coffee truck on the set of "Hotel Del Luna" last year.
"The Producers" was his last major series role before he was enlisted in the military. He got promoted to Sergeant because of his exceptional conduct in the military. After he was discharged, he accepted a cameo role not just in "Hotel Del Luna" and but also in "Crash Landing On You."
"It's Ok to Not Be Ok" is Kim Soo Hyun's current major lead role post-military. It tells the story of a man who works in the psychiatric ward and a woman who has an anti-social personality disorder.
Kim Soo Hyun plays as Moon Kang Tae, who is in charge of documenting the patient's behavior and conditions and making sure that any problems that arise in the ward will be dealt with accordingly, which includes fighting among patients and running away.
Meanwhile, Ko Moon Young, played by Seo Ye Ji, is a self-entitled author of popular children's book who is rude, arrogant, and selfish.
"It's Ok to Not Be Ok" is currently aired on tvN and Netflix since June 20.
