Her personality was put to test when she reportedly cursed at Yewon in 2015 and led netizens into assuming she has a nasty behavior.

Later on, it was proven through a leaked video that she acted that way because she was upset when Yewon spoke informally to her. Netizens realized and understood why she did it because Yewon was unreasonably rude to her.

The fake scandal took place way back in 2016. There was a reported incident that he assaulted a woman he met at a bar sexually. Thanks to the thorough and careful investigation, the actor was proven innocent, and the woman who filed the charges ended up apologizing. The actor could have been put in distress since the public already started questioning his credibility.

Last year, the actress faced dismay that she was alleged to be involved in the "Burning Sun" scandal. She was even rumored that she got entangled in Seungri's solicitation of prostitution and drug use in his club all because she and Seungri took a picture together. But sooner, it was revealed that they were not close at all.

The actress denied allegations and filed multiple lawsuits against those who spread fake news. However, the damage has been done, causing her hiatus for almost a year. Luckily, after eight months, the actress was able to sign up with a new agency.

The Shincheonji church made headlines of spreading the Coronavirus in South Korea and had been blamed by the public for their irresponsibility. Lee Dong Wook was among the celebrities who were even associated with this religious sect that took part in the spreading of the virus.

Luckily, his agency King Kong Entertainment made a statement quickly about the fake news - releasing statements that they will perform legal action without settlements to whoever was the source of spreading as such baseless and untrue news, including those who are reproducing the rumors that would greatly affect the status of the actor.

Just recently, the actor got involved in the fake news about dating his lawyer just almost one year after his divorce with actress Song Hye Kyo. He has been denying rumors as the actor has been busy fixing his schedule for promoting his upcoming films and recent productions.

Additionally, his agency History D&C released a statement also denying rumors even though it has been spreading throughout the legal industry.

Scandals are everywhere, and people are just waiting for the right timing as to how to get money by spreading rumors or ruin a celebrity's reputation. But at the end of the day, the truth will always prevail.
