Being a celebrity and getting a good grade in school is never easy. It takes effort and dedication to even excel in academics and act at the same time.

Not all celebrities chose to finish their studies, though, amidst their popularity or acting projects. This is why these Korean stars are commendable enough to have completed their education or get higher grades while acting on the side.

Here is a list of celebrities in the K-drama land who juggle their studies and their career, and thrive while doing so.

Nam Ji Hyun

Her latest lead character and newly-ended drama in "365: Repeat The Year" shows her notable acting performance. But little do people know that six years after studying at Sogang University, she graduated with a degree in Psychology in February this year. Nam Ji Hyun also excels in her academics during middle school. In high school, she consistently placed in the top five students overall. On to of all this, she debuts as a child actress and continues making drama series until the present.

Kim Tae Hee

Beauty and brains, indeed! In highs chool school, Kim Tae Hee scored a record of 100/100 in three subjects. She graduated in 2005 from Seoul National University, one of Korea's most prestigious educational institutions, with a degree in fashion design. Reportedly with a 148 OQ, Kim Tae Hee is one of Korea's smartest beauties.

Yoon In Na

In one of her broadcast with SBS's "Heroes," she shared her history of placing first during school and receiving perfect scores. Yoo In Na commented, "I studied hard and placed no. 1 during my elementary school up until I was in fourth grade. I studied very hard during that time. One time, my teacher asked who gets the perfect score in one of our tests and needed to stand up. It turns out, I was the only person who stands up and got the perfect score."

Super Junior's Kyuhyun

He is notable in sharing his academic achievements on a variety of broadcasts, prominently on SBS's "Running Man." Kyuhyun revealed that he received multiple awards in various math competitions. He also shared that he received a prize from the Ministry of Education for Science and Math.

Alexander Lee

He initially studied Communication in De Anza College in California. After his debut and making waves in the Korean entertainment industry, he continued his studies and enrolled in Korea University, taking up Journalism & Mass Communication. Alexander actively participates in school and sometimes gives guest talks at lectures about his knowledge from being in the Korean entertainment industry.

Im Si Wan

In one o the episode of KBS2's "1 VS 100," Im Siwan shared that he exceled and placed at the top of his class and during grade school. He was elected as the vice president in middle school and high school. He studied well in high school until he entered university. During his military enlistment 2017-2019, he volunteered as a teacher and donated all his military earnings. He donated his military salary and some of his money to Hyochon Elementary School in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province.

Kim So Hyun

Kim So Hyun started as a child actress and remains active in the industry until the present, but her acting projects do not hinder her to acquire good grades in her studies. Kim So Hyun gets good grades in language 91.5, match 87.4, and science 92.7.
