Jung Saet Byul (Kim Yoo Jung) got scammed and decided to quit her job at the convenience store because of Choi Dae Hyun's (Ji Chang Wook) ex-girlfriend, but he still hopes to get help from her if given a chance.
In one of the past episodes' highlights, Jung Saet Byul found her sister's agency where she was accepted as an idol trainee. She returns to Choi Dae Hyun's house for shelter after being kicked out of Kang Ji Wook's condominium, while Choi Dae Hyun got dumped by his ex-girlfriend and found his family being used by Yeon Joo's mother to be pitied for being low-class.

In the newly-released stills of the drama, Jung Saet Byul is back in the store with her blue vest and wearing a tag that reads "Manager Jung Saet Byul." She began to clean and reorganize the shelves with her style.
Choi Dae Hyun is glad and surprised by his newly appointed manager's eagerness and hard work.
The show is now taking a new direction as Choi Dae Hyun reaches singlehood and focuses on bringing the store's success. The producers of "Backstreet Rookie" shared that the two characters will grow fond of each other.
The show boosted and gained high ratings in viewerships for the past episodes showing that they slowly overcame past obstacles.

Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook is grateful for his good friend, EXO's Chanyeol, for his support after the idol sent him a gift on the set of "Backstreet Rookie."
The actor shared a photo on July 22 of himself in front of a coffee-and-churros truck sent by the EXO member. On the banner, Chanyeol's message says, "Backstreet Rookie, you can do it until the end! I love you, Yong Pal Hyung."
Chanyeol has been supportive of Ji Chang Wook as this is the second time he sent the actor a coffee truck. The other one was on the set of "Melting Me Softly" where Ji Chang Wook was also the lead actor.
On July 20, Ji Chang Wook also received a coffee truck from one of his fans from Latin America, which he also shared a picture on his SNS.
Before this, the actor received a gift from his Korean fan club, Dayrock. On July 7, the actor received a birthday celebration coffee and snack truck that was also sent on the set of "Backstreet Rookie."
