The Upcoming Netflix Korean Drama “Hell” Carries A Far-Famed Line-Up Starring Kim Hyun Joo, Park Jung Min, Yoo Ah In and Won Jin Ah
Korean series and films are taking over the world! The expanding Korean content with varying genres in Netflix keeps on coming and coming! Viewers are now excited for the upcoming supernatural, and mystery series "Hell." The show includes a star-studded lineup including, Kim Hyun Joo, Park Jung Min, Yoo Ah In, and Won Jin Ah.
Based on a webtoon by Yeon Sang-Ho of the same title, "Hell," is a story about fallen angels from the underworld who come to earth and pronounce death upon human beings. In the process of declaring death on individuals, these fallen angels fall into uncertainty whether declaring such things are a blessing or a curse on people. A new religion is born and there is also a man who proclaims himself to be the interpreter of God's intentions.
The actress Kim Hyun Joo is set to portray the role of Min Hye Jin, an assertive lawyer. Min Hye Jin is opposed to the New Truth Church, and its adherent followers called the Arrowhead. Hyun Joo is popular for her roles in "Glass Slippers," "Identical Affairs," and her recent series, which was released in 2019, "The Watcher." Besides acting in "Hell," she will also play a role in an upcoming JTBC series, "Undercover," which will be airing in the year 2021.
"Hell" will also feature the actor Park Jung Min who is known for his work in "Entourage." He will play the role of Bae Yeong Jae who works as a producing director of a broadcasting company that is currently investigating the New Truth Church.
The actor is known for portraying roles mostly on films, so fans are quite excited to see the actor in a story with a longer duration. He is known for his portrayals in films such as "Svaha: The Sixth Finger," and "Time To Hunt." He had also worked in a few television series including, "Feast Of Gods," "Golden Time," and the special series, "Puberty Medley." Park Jung Min's latest cameo was in the hit historical drama "Mr. Sunshine" in 2018.
Moreover, the actor Yoo Ah In will be taking on the role of Jeong Jin Soo who's the charismatic yet mysterious leader of the New Truth Church. When the angels from hell arrive on earth, he proclaims it to be the will of God. Yoo Ah In is also quite notable for his roles in "Fashion King," "Jang Ok Jung," "Secret Affair," "The Roots of Throne," and "Chicago Typewriter."
Also a part of the star-studded cast is actress Won Jin Ah who will portray Song Su Hyun, who is the wife of Bae Yeong Jae and a member of the New Truth Church. Being part of the mysterious religion, she is subject to immense pressure.
The actress is known for varying drama roles in "Rain or Shine," "Life," and "Melting Me Softly." She will also star in the upcoming 2021 film entitled "Don't Put That Lipstick."
The webtoon "Hell" is written by writer Yeon Sang-Ho who works together with illustrator Choi Kyu Seok. The webtoon was serialized on August back in 2019. Up until now, the webtoon is popular among readers. The webtoon is currently being updated and is now on its 19th episode.
In addition to the amazing crew is producing director Yeon Sang-Ho who is famous for his works in "Train To Busan," and "Peninsula." "Hell" also known as "Hellbound" will be produced by Lezhin Studio and will be available on Netflix from various countries all over the world.
