On August 2, tvN with its cast and crew photos revealed that the romance drama had completed it's filming on July 31. Even with the unpredictable weather conditions like heavy rains and sunny days, the producers had wrapped up the filming with no troubles. Thank you to the great effort and teamwork of the cast and crew!
According to a source, the production crew decided that the drama "It's Okay To Not Be Okay," with its global hit and trending achievement, will not hold any farewell party. The decision came due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Reportedly, the source shared, "Out of consideration for the cast and crew safety, we are not planning to hold a wrap party."
On August 1, the show garnered a rise in its viewership, scoring an average nationwide rating of 5.7% and a peak of 6.2% for the night.
The drama series dominates the chart for six consecutive weeks. Last week, the show's highlight was Kim Soo Hyun's perfect visuals as he wears a suit. The family portrait of the three lead stars was a hot topic on the internet as well.
Another heartwarming buzz for the show is when Oh Jung Se met a mentally disabled fan and enjoyed the whole day with him on an amusement park.
SPOILER ALERT:
The latest episode gave the viewers a heart-wrenching story of Seo Ye Ji's past as Ko Mun Young. Her traumatic childhood experience gave a glimpse of how she turned up to be cold-hearted and less emphatic towards her people.
Ko Mun Young was expected to be a good daughter because of her mother's discipline and treatment. She witnessed as well how her parents became distant and carried their chaotic marriage and family.
As Mun Young's father died due to a brain tumor, she wasn't eager to say goodbye because of her mother's death and nothing to blame but him. But one thing for sure, Mun Young realized that a princess's life does not secure happiness and love.
The director gave the viewers another twist; it is to ponder, who is the mysterious person who drew the butterfly on Sang Tae's mural?
Sang Tae was ready to unleash his fears over butterflies, and as they headed towards the hospital with Gang Tae and Mun Young, someone painted a butterfly that looks the same as Mun Young's mother's jewelry, which she also wore on the night where Gang Tae's mother died.
Mun Young heard Sang Tae's sentiments over a butterfly and the time of his mother's death. It was a revelation she had never expected.
Moon Gang Tae and Director Oh are ready to look for the culprit and find the truth about Mun Young's mother.
