They are the men behind great scenes and the striking plot of films. Yet they also have great visuals that can outmatch any celebrities. Korean film directors join the cast during press conferences and promotional activities in the country or overseas.
They don't get a lot of attention or headlines, but they also deserve the credits for they are the creative minds behind our favorite movies and series. Today, we have summed up some of the Korean film directors who are not only talented but have great visuals too!
JUNG WOO SUNG
Not only is he an actor, model, producer, and film director, he is also one of the first Korean UNHCR appointed as National Goodwill Ambassador. He never hid the fact that he dropped out of school and worked hard to support his family. With his tall height, he became a model rather than focus first on being an actor.
His good looks and talent in producing great films made him recognizable not only in Korea but overseas, especially in Japan. He is notable for his acting role in Steel Rain 2017 and the current one Steel Rain 2: Summit. He has made several short and documentary films that are shown in Hong Kong along with his Chinese actors in "Three Charmed Lives."

LEE CHUNG HYUN
Early this year, during the press conference for the upcoming film "Call," starring Park Shin Hye, in Gangnam, Seoul. The director of the said film stole the spotlight with his idol-like visuals.
Lee Chung Hyun is the same age as Park Shin Hye, 30 years old. He studied at Hankuk University and he took up Foreign Studies. The movie was his debut film following the success of his 2015 short movie "Bargain."
PARK HOON JUNG
Park Hoon Jung is a director and a screenwriter as well. He is known for his successful films such as "The Witch: Part 1 The Subversion" 2018. One of his movies, "New World," a crime drama, was featured in the New York Times for its great acting performance and suspense storyline.

KIM JEE WOON
One of the successful film directors and screenwriters in the Korean entertainment industry, Kim Jee Woon started his career as a stage actor/director in 1983. He received an honorary award from the French government for his contribution to Korean western films. Kim Jee Woon made his U.S. directorial debut with Arnold Schwarzenegger, who starred in "The Last Stand."
Best Korean Western film by Kim; "The Good, The Bad, the Weird" (premiered at the Cannes Film festival in 2008). "The Quiet Family," "The Foul King," "A Tale of Two Sisters," and "A Bittersweet Life."
LEE JUNG JAE
Lee Jung Jae is soon to release his first debut film titled "Hunt" as it's reportedly into production in 2021. He is the good friend of Joo Woo Sung as they both established and became CEOs of their entertainment company called the "Artist Company."
