It's quite sad to say that our weekends will never be the same again since "It's Okay To Not Be Okay" has finally reached its ending. Being avid fans, I don't think we can move on from it quickly.
We have watched several Korean dramas. Still, you can never compare this drama especially with the attachment that developed between us and the series' characters and storyline. The drama's plot serves as the closest representation of our real-life situations.
The show's 16 episodes may not have been enough for us. At some point, it made us shed tears, but as it ended with a happy finale, who are we to complain?

Special Moments From "IT'S OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY" That Proves It Deserves A Happy Ending
1. The patients at the hospital somehow found their way to healing. Yes, they are still recovering step by step; however, the patients in OK Psychiatric Hospital slowly got the chance to face their traumas and sorrowful realities. Some of the patients even fully recovered and finally started a new life.
2. Juri finally decided to open her heart to Sang-In as she found the courage to move on from her past love Gang Tae. She also came into the realization that she someone she can always depend on and make her laugh. Someone who truly needs her and that is Sang-In. The second lead couple's romance is something that made the viewers' hearts contented.
3. Jaesu finally became a hyung (older brother). Gang Tae, at the end, officially acknowledged Jaesu as his family and called him his "big brother." This is what Jaesu always wished for, and it means that he doesn't have to follow them around and sacrifice his dreams but they will always stick together as a family doing whatever they want.
4. Moon Young has finally found a family. She decided to cut the leash of her painful past which resulted into putting away all her bad memories, including and most especially, of her mother. Having Gang Tae, Sang Tae and the people around them who cares for her, she begins to erase the bad memories and is ready to create new happy ones. Now, Ko Moon Young isn't alone in life anymore!
5. Gang Tae had stopped running away. He quit his job as a caregiver not because he wants to escape again, but because he's already ready to face whatever battle he needs to fight and start afresh. He decided to pursur studying and spend happy times with his family. Finally, he need not choose between his happiness and responsibilities since he now knows how to handle both.
6. Sang Tae has developed and transformed into a successful brother. Our much loved Hyung has finally made his dreams come true which is to be a fairytale book illustrator, to be a strong big brother who can be able to protect his family Gang Tae and Moon Young, to be able to draw facial expressions and to be able to overcome his fears with butterflies. Lastly, he also reached his dreams of becoming an independent person who is reliable and who can take care of himself as he work towards his passion in life.
It sad that the drama had already ended, but what matters is that each character all got the happy ending that they deserve.
