It really is exciting to wait for a new drama to be released, especially those that are a mixture of different genres. "Missing: They Were There" is one of thos shows. It's a mystery-thriller-drama that viewers can't wait to watch!
It's about someone who can see ghosts or the souls of those who are already dead. He then gets obsessed in finding the reason why and how this particular person has gone missing. The person who plays this role is the actor Ko Soo. After being able to reach a village which is named as Village of Lost Souls, he found a couple of companions who didn't realized that they were already becoming involved with Ko Soo. As Ko Soo continues to find the truths about the recovering souls, Ha Joon and Ahn So-hee gets involved with him and they uncover the mystery together.
The teaser that was posted by the producers shows a scene in a forest that is full of souls and Ko Soo mentioned that the forest has at least 30 lost souls and he was intrigued as to what the reason of each was when they died or how they disappeared.
There were also some stills from the series that was posted online and had some description that came from the producers of the film. In one scenario, it seems that Ko Soo is hooked or really intrigued with what is the reason behind Choi Yeon-ah's disappearance. She disappeared not long ago and he believes that she is still alive because she is his fiancée.
No one can really stop and hinder someone when that particular person has engraved in his mind and someone who is determined to find out what happened, most especially when that person is close to you like in this case her being Ko Soo's fiancée. He will do anything in his power for him to know what the reason behind is and that he will get to the bottom of whoever did this to his future wife and someone reported to him that it is possible for the case to be a kidnapping and murder.

But then, in another teaser that was posted, a big truck crashed into a car and they suspect the person driving the truck to be somewhat involved with the recent disappearance of Choi Yeon-ah. The production team has posted a lot of stills from the series that also involves the teaser that was posted, like when Ko Soo was staying in a village with the actor that we have also seen in "Mystic Pop-up Bar," Song Geon Hee. He appears to be holding the hand of a kid but it seems that they know more about what was happening and that they are keeping it as a secret. Through what the production team has posted about the upcoming series, it intrigues us viewers as to what the series will bring.

The drama will air on the 29th of August and it is directed by Min Yeon-hong and co-written by Park Gi-ri and Jung So-young.
