The entertainment industry ended the month with blessings as actress Kang Sora and comedienne Kwon Mijin married their respective grooms today, August 29.
Kang Sora got married to her non-celebrity fiance. The big ceremony was supposed to be celebrated with her family and friends but due to the resurgence of the coronavirus, it got canceled.
The couple chose to have a simple ceremony and with their direct family members.
Previously, Kang Sora and her agency Plum A&C announced the good news with the actress handwritten note for her fans (fan site).
The 30 year old actress Kang Sora wishes to thank her hands and shared, "I met and found a good person to spend the rest of my life with."
Kang So-ra thanked her fans for their support for the past 11 years since she debuted and known for her roles in "Dream High" and "Doctor Stranger".
The letter also included that in consideration of her future husband as a non-celebrity status no further details will be released.
Meanwhile, it was also reported that Kang Sora and Hyun Bin were in a relationship but they broke up in 2017 after a year together.
Kwon Mijin
On this day August 29, comedienne Kwon Mijin is marrying her non-celebrity beau at the Eliena Hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The wedding was supposed to be in December this year but due to her pregnancy the couple changed it earlier. Kwon Mijin is four months pregnant. The couple decided to tie the knot after six months of dating.
Her fellow comedians Lee Seung Yoon, Ryu Geun Ji, and Kim Gi Ri will participate in the wedding and together with their respective families.
Kwon Mijin shared with OSEN about her being pregnant, "Many of my friends congratulated me during my wedding pictorial and knew about me being pregnant. I thought I would feel shy as I announced it as it is a personal matter but I am grateful and many were happy as well."
As of the moment, Kwon Mijin happily mentioned that she never felt any morning sickness or uncomfortable symptoms at all. She is a bit worried and curious if it is fine but she is looking forward to her next hospital visit.
Kwon Mi-jin on her note as she expressed her happiness added, "All of my family and my husband are happy and I am grateful for this day. I thank everyone who has supported me and watched over me for the past years. As a wife and a mother I will work hard and learn many things."
Kwon Mi-jin made her debut as a comedian for the 2010 KBS 25th. She is known for her participation in the "Health Girl" KBS 2TV Gag concert where she previously weighed 103kg to shed pounds and maintained a steady weight of 50kg.
