In the recent episodes of tvN "Record of Youth" Park Bo Gum and male co-stars received HPV vaccination in surprise.
In episode 4, Sa Hye Jun (Park Bo Gum), together with Won Hae Hyo (Byeon Woo Seok,) rushed to the clinic and met up with their friend Jin Woo (Kwon Soo Hyun), which both wondered what happened to him. Jin Woo contacted his friends and mentioned he is in trouble.
Hye Jun and Hae Hyo teased him if Jin Woo is in a relationship since he wanted to get an HPV vaccine. Jin Woo denied and hid that he is currently dating and his girlfriend is Hae Hyo's sister - Won Hae Na.
Won Hae Na (Joo Yoo Jung) the night before insisted that Jin Woo should get three shots of the HPV vaccine before they intend to go deeper with their relationship as adults.
For Hae Na, it would protect her as a woman and avoid future detection of cervical cancer. Recent studies showed that HPV vaccines help to protect the spread of cervical cancer in any sexual contact.
