Check out the list below!
Kingdom Season 2
Based on watching thriller films like Train to Busan or Alive, when the zombies are created and handled correctly, these kinds of films will scare the hell out of you! Well, Kingdom is one series that bought us a lot of tension and drama when it premiered in 2019 and not to mention the finale of season 1 ended things on a big cliffhanger. Kingdom season 2 did expand on its original ideas and made the story a lot more thrilling and exciting that made us anticipate more for its third season. The overwhelming feeling of dread and despair are reasons enough to make this once best zombie drama ever!
Itaewon Class
Well, we could say that some of the middle chapters in this drama may run out of steam before picking up towards the end. However, Itaewon Class made its story very relatable when it combined important themes in the society with acceptance, belief and racism. What makes this show the best though is that the story throws in contrast between the rich and poor mixed in with the feelings of pride and jealously. Itaewon Class is a very engaging drama and is very well written. Kudos to the team!
The World Of The Married
The World of the Married is known to be the highest-rated drama in Korean cable television history! Yes, and we know why. This drama features the reality of what married couples go through. This drama is the Korean adaptation of the British series "Doctor Foster." With the steamy affair as the main focus of the story, the show only grows stronger with each episode. The success of The World of the Married is undeniable and certainly deserves some recognition for what it has achieved. It's certainly one of the best Korean dramas of the year and well worth watching.
It's Okay Not To Be Okay
It's Okay Not To Be Okay is catering to the sensitive issues that people are facing nowadays, and it focuses more on mental health issues. From emotional and physical abuse to learning difficulties, the drama features these issues with a good plot. Just like the title itself, it is okay not to be okay and to seek help, whether professionally or from the support of friends and family if you are experiencing depression or other mental problems. We know that it's not easy to portray mental health issues, but this drama did a great job exhibiting this in its rawest form, with the help of the production teams as well as the amazing acting performance from the entire cast. Truly, one of the best drama series aired in 2020.
