In a recent interview, Ji Soo talks about his role as Seo Hwan in the recently finished "When I Was the Most Beautiful" alongside Im Soo Hyang and Ha Seok Jin.

"When I Was the Most Beautiful" is MBC's romantic drama series, where it circles two brothers, Seo Jin and Seo Hwan, who fell in love with the same woman, Oh Ye Ji.

Seo Hwan is an architectural designer who fell in love with Oh Ye-Ji at first sight, while his older brother, who is a race car driver, also fell in love with Ye Ji when he first met her at his father's workshop. So basically, the two brothers fell for the same girl when they first laid eyes on her.

His older brother fell for Ye Ji for her physical beauty, but Hwan fell for her inner beauty. Eventually, Jin married Ye Ji but got into an accident then gave way for Hwan to have his chance with Ye Ji. The twist and turns made some viewers stop watching the drama midway, but some find it great.

According to Ji Soo, some people say the drama is about the love between a sister-in-law and the younger brother in his interview. Still, the actor sees it in a different way by expressing his own opinion that the outlook that woman he loves, which later on became his sis-in-law, is really an important factor in building the first four episodes why Seo Hwan has no choice but has to fall in love with Ye Ji although she was already married to his older brother.

The actor added that the scenes that were shot in Jeju Island were supposed to be filmed in the USA. But due to the COVID 19 pandemic situation, they had to change the location to fit in the schedule. The plan of kissing each other in Central Park, New York, which could have been iconic, got deleted due to difficulty in travel. Due to the changes in the location, the production decided to change the script making Hwan's affection towards Ye Ji unsexual yet explicit.

Ji Soo cannot deny how great the two lead actors were. The acting of the two actors was superb, according to Ji Soo, that their chemistry was so overwhelming that he added he had no trouble getting into character and feeling the emotions. He learned a lot from the two by watching them in the drama that even helped Ji Soo when he messed around in reality since he was the youngest.

He continued by stating that doing the drama was not easy. It is not always bright; it started to be therapeutic, then eventually, he got exhausted.

The actor even mentioned that his future goals include trying out musicals and variety shows to travel overseas. And wanted to have Nam Joo Hyuk, his closest friend, to join him if he could choose another cast member. He also hopes to have the role of a genius as he finds it appealing.

He ended the interview to become a good actor as all the other actors have the same goal as his. And on October 22, Ji Soo confirmed to be play lead in "River Where the Moon Rises" alongside Kim So Hyun.
