The forthcoming action drama "Taxi Driver" drops new stills featuring its lead star Lee Je Hoon!

The upcoming South Korean television series "Taxi Driver" stars talented actors Lee Je Hoon, Esom, Kim Eui Sung, and Lee Na Eun. The drama is a remake of the webtoon with the same title. It will be helmed by director Park Joon Woo and penned by writer Oh Sang Ho.

"Taxi Driver" Short Synopsis and Cast of Characters

"Taxi Driver" is about a mysterious taxi service that takes revenge and gives justice to victims who are unable to get their justice from the law. It involves people who take the law into their own hands. Lee Je Hoon stars as Kim Do Ki, who finished a course at the Naval Academy and became a UDT (underwater demolition team) Official. Unfortunately, his life shattered when his mother was killed by an unknown serial killer. This event changed his life afterward.

Kim Do Ki now works as a driver for the mysterious taxi service named Rainbow Taxi. It may look like he's working in an ordinary company; however, Rainbow Taxi is not just an ordinary taxi service company. Rainbow Taxi offers special services like the special "revenge-call" service. It means that if a client wants to seek revenge, its employees will perform the task themselves.

Meanwhile, Esom will portray the character of Kang Ha Na, the prosecutor who starts to do her investigation when she starts to wonder why the criminals she is trying to take down get wiped out one by one. Other casts in the drama include Kim Eui Sung and APRIL's Naeun, who will star as Jang Sung Cheol, the CEO of the mysterious taxi service, and Go Eun, the talented hacker who has the ability to dig up personal information.

Lee Je Hoon Transforms into a Justice-Seeking Taxi Driver in the Drama

The newly released poster features Lee Je Hoon's transformation into his brave character as Kim Do Gi. In one photo, Kim Do Gi is leaning back his body in his vintage and wild taxi. He is fixing his glove as if he is preparing to do something mysterious. He seems to be excited about what he's about to do since his relaxed smile is evident. This makes the viewers even more excited for the new character who works incognito and is dubbed as the "dark hero."

Another photo features Lee Je Hoon doing his job as a taxi driver, and he looks back through the open taxi door. In this photo, he seems to be very serious and determined to do his task. The words on the poster read: "Can you tell me why you're feeling so unjustified?"

The drama's production team shared their thoughts about the upcoming drama and stated that "Taxi Driver" is a dark hero drama that secretly takes down criminals who are dominant in Korean society, and it also represents people who suffer unjustly because of them.

"Taxi Driver" is set to broadcast after the end of "The Penthouse 2," which is scheduled on April 9 at 10 p.m. KST.
