The ongoing fantasy-mystery drama "Sisyphus: The Myth" has finally unveiled Kim Byung Chul's mysterious character.

"Sisyphus: The Myth" revealed the mysterious character Sigma in its March 4 broadcast. The figure behind the silhouetted poster was none other than actor Kim Byung Chul, shocking the viewers and put them on the edge of their chairs.
Though he may have made a brief appearance in the drama, Sigma left a powerful impression on viewers as the core character who already knows what the future holds for Han Tae Sul and Kang Seo Hae.
In the press conference held for the drama, director Jin Hyuk dropped a clue that the unknown figure called Sigma is their "hidden card." He is set to portray the character of the final villain.
Ahead of the drama's premiere, three posters were revealed featuring the cast of characters Cho Seung Woo, Park Shin Hye, and the third poster is an unidentifiable figure. Since the release, viewers are very much curious about and tried to figure out who the mysterious figure could be.
Finally, for his much-awaited appearance in the sixth episode of the drama, the identity of Sigma was unveiled through a new poster!
In the poster, he is seen having a cold and scary gaze. He seems to be looking down on something with a strong expression.

Kim Byung Chul Expresses His Thoughts about His Character as Sigma
Talking about the revelation of Sigma, the actor expressed that when his hidden character as Sigma has been finally revealed, he felt a slight thrill deep inside. When the silhouette poster was released, he also wondered if there would be people who could recognize that it is him even though they can only see a silhouette.
However, his identity was hidden perfectly as no one recognized its true identity. And thanks to this, viewers were even more curious and tensed.
The actor went on to explain that the character of Sigma is an undocumented person from the future like Seo Hae. Lastly, the actor shared one key point to look out for the drama. It is why Sigma chasing Han Tae Sul and Kang Seo Hae and how their characters are connected.
The drama's production team also shared their thoughts about the drama and expressed that Sigma's identity was finally revealed. Since the viewers already know who he is, his character will start to show his true colors in the upcoming episodes which will bring Tae Sul and Seo Hae bigger challenges. The production crew is asking everyone to please show a lot of interest in the upcoming episodes of the drama.
