If you've seen the movie "The Commitment," you will not easily forget Choi Seung Hyun's (Big Bang's TOP) deep eyes.
"The Commitment" is on its steady journey to number one in the box office since its premiere on November 6, 2013. TOP of Big Bang worked as an idol star for several years, but his role as an actor has not been established.
However, after the premiere of "The Commitment," it seems as if Choi Seung Hyun has fully positioned himself as an actor.
When asked why he decided to film 'The Commitment,' Choi Seung Hyun said, "I didn't have much of a reason. I felt sympathy for the main character, Lee Myung Hoon. When I first read the script, I didn't really get a feel for it. But then I thought this could be something I could do well."
To film a scene where Lee Myung Hoon cries and breaks down, Choi Seung Hoon asked the director if he could drink.
"You can't drink to perform your character. But I thought before filming, 'What if I drink a little bit to better convey emotions of Lee Myung Hoon?' Thankfully, my director understood where I was coming from, and I drank a bottle of soju for the scene."
